I am so thankful I found Angie's Bark Avenue. They are amazing in their techniques and gentle with our pets. I've taken my cats for lion cuts and I could not be more pleased. These guys are great and I highly recommend them.

We are new to the area and desperately needed a groomer for our dog Nemo. After spending several hours on the internet doing extensive research we decided to try Angie's Bark Avenue. Upon calling to make the appointment I spoke with Amanda who answered all of my questions and put me at much needed ease. We then decided to do a drive by to check the place out. Big open windows in the front goes to show they have nothing to hide, as well as being very clean on the inside. These ladies have done an outstanding job with our Nemo and we will be returning customers for many many years to come. Thank you Angie's Bark Avenue for a GREAT experience!!!!!

I've tried many pet groomers in the area and I absolutely love Angie's. I won't use any one else! They are professional and treat my lab, Jake like he was their own. He loves going there. They are very thorough and he always looks great and smells great. Everyone in my family now uses Angies and they also love it there. I would highly recommend this place if you want to be sure your pet is taken care of and loved !!

After negative experience the owner offered to groom both cats for free. I still feel however that the service is lacking. I will not be returning.

That certainly does not look like a yorkie pup. What is this guy even talking about a yorkie for?????

Also. It has been determined that the same person wrote all of these bad reviews. His name is Zachariah Wallace and he stood and watched his dog being groomed and it was not mistreated as he can vouch for.

Not sure why any negatives. Angie's has been awesome for our two considerably different dogs (one terrier mix and a long haired lab mix). The prices are great, the service is friendly, and our babies always look great. There has never been a concern in how they are treated as we've gone there plenty and our dogs are always happy to go and happy to leave lol. No concern at all and just great

Angie's Bark Avenue is by far, the best grooming establishment that I and my dogs have ever been to. They do a wonderful job and are very accommodating. My dogs, especially the lab, LOVE to visit! I highly recommend calling Angie for an appointment.

I do not know about the all the Negitive reviews all put in on the same 2 days, here is what I think and I have never heard a negitive thing in all my YEARS of going there.

Love this place Angie and her team are true professionals that go the extra mile. They take care of my PitBull and large bread dog with ease. They have alway done a great job. I highly recommend them. Clean shop, pleasent people and truley a great place to go. You will not be disapointed

When Unsatisfied with poor service owner called names and refused refund... Very unprofessional - threatened to blackball anyone who complained - do yourself a favor and don't choose Angie's!

I brought by dog here and all he needed was a very close shave - they did ok. The rest of my experience was terrible. Just like the review below, I was made to feel like it didn't matter if I came back and that I wasn't a valid dog owner. Thanks anyway, I can take my business elsewhere.



Check out their site (well, you can actually skip on the travesty that their website is) - they have a "handyman division"! That is where I want to bring my pet...



Take my advice (and the others online) and keep looking elsewhere!

My ONE neighbor who went here and CONTINUE TO go has a dog that they basically get shaved - something that would be hard to mess up. Anyone else that has dogs that need actual grooming have gone and never returned! Read the review below about them getting soap in dog's eyes. If you are looking for a groomer keep moving!

Angie's Bark avenue came highly recommended to me through local pet rescue groups. After meeting them, I instantly knew that this is the one groomer in the Harrisburg area that I would be happy to have as part of my "pet family". Working and being in contact with many dogs that have behavioral and/or health issues I have very high srandards regarding their care. Finding these 3 wonderfully patient and kind groomers was an answer to my prayers. They are well educated about the proper care and techniques of handling/ grooming AND between them they have 52 yrs. experience!! But most importantly, they are truly devoted to compassionate care and never would put an animal under undo stress!! I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a groomer that will treat and love your pet as if it was their own!!:)

I have been going to Angie's for years with my Border Collie and I have never been disappointed. The prices are great and the staff is extremely friendly. I have been to many groomers in the area and have never found anyone that can even come close to Angie and I will never go anywhere else. ZachLOVESleah you obviously do not have the knowledge to groom a dog so if the staff was treating you like you didn't know what was best IT'S BECAUSE YOU DON'T!!! They have been grooming dogs for years and know what is safe to use around a puppies neck. Would you rather your puppy fall off the table??? As for the wait I'm sure they would have accommodated to your needs as they have done for me many times. I highly recommend Angie's Bark Avenue!!!!



ZachLOVESleah If that picture is supposed to be of your Yorkie puppy's "bloodshot" eyes I think you need to get YOUR eyes checked.

Pros: Price, Cleanliness (in the lobby, at least)

Cons: As a first time customer, there was a severe lack of customer service. We have a small Yorkie puppy, and we requested they not use the table grooming leash around her neck due to potential trachea problems. The staff gave us a hard time, treating us like we didn't know what we were talking about and that they knew best. Thankfully, they didn't put the leash around our pup's neck, but the fact that we were treated the way we were was very upsetting. We were told it would be an hour and a half wait, despite having an appointment. We were unable to watch our pup get washed and dried. We were told they did not use heat but we don't know for sure. The shampoo that was used made our dog smell like a car freshener mixed with stale cigarette smoke. Our pup's eyes have been red (bloodshot) and watery since we brought her home. One nail on each paw was forgotten while being clipped. Her hair was cut very unevenly, some of which we did not notice until we got home. After they gave us our little girl back, we were told what we owed and that was that. Again, the lack of customer service made us feel like they didn't even care if we came back.



Overall, we were not impressed and we will not be back. From a first (and only) time customer, STAY AWAY!
