Located in Mebane, N.C., Hawfields Middle School provides a range of educational and extracurricular programs to more than 620 students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, English, mathematics, social studies and science. It provides instruction in several exploratory subjects, including art, life skills, chorus, band, vocational technology, business and marketing, and health and physical education. In addition, the school offers the English as Second Language program for students with special needs. It provides opportunities for students to participate in a variety of athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, softball and volleyball. Hawfields Middle School is a part of the Alamance-Burlington School System.
