McKinney Learning Center, also known as MLC, offers learning options to more than 60 students. It conducts classes in math, science, social studies and language arts. The center s Collin County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program serves students between the ages of 10 and 17. Established in 1988, McKinney Learning Center also provides guidance counseling and behavior and coping skills development services. It offers a variety of food items for breakfast and lunch. The center additionally provides special education sessions to students with learning difficulties. McKinney Learning Center administers the English as a Second Language program. It is a part of the McKinney Independent School District.
