Mediocre; used to be really good for what it was (a country diner), but management and staff have become slack and uncaring. Especially the manager. I was a 2-3 times a week regular, but no more. Last time I complained to the manager/owner about a terrible waitress I was told to "try not to sit in her section"! He needs to get rid of that stupid big-screen TV he watches (while chatting on his cell phone) and take care of business. He's losing customers and doesn't seem to care.

Gritz is what I think of as an old fashioned southern restaurant with southern hospitality. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I've never had a bad experience at Gritz. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
