I could not get an appointment with my GP for 4 days, so I went to this walk in that my husband goes to regularly. The ladies at the front were wonderful. I was prepared to wait, but not prepared for the freezer/waiting room I was sitting in. Once, in the back (warmth!) The nurse was wonderful, Dr. Reed was wonderful, shots in my butt- not wonderful. But by the time i picked up my prescription the swelling was gone. Wonderful walk in practice! I just wish i could switch from my doctor to them. But without appointments...

The people that work here are a bunch of crooks. I went in for a physical as a private pay patient. I used my credit card to pay for it. They told me my charge was $90. They charged my credit card $90 plus an additional $300. When i noticed i called them back and they refused to refund, but they admitted doing it as an oversight. I never got my $300 back. Dr. Imes and the Ofc Manager are crooks. Stay away.

After having a horrible experience at a local urgent care, I went to family medical as a walk in. The receptionist was very nice and was efficient in getting me checked in. I saw a provider named Elizabeth and she was wonderful! She had a great personality and really put me at ease. I will definitely be back. Thanks for the great experience!

I moved back to McDonough in 2009, while searching for a Primary Phyisician, I ended up at Family Medical Clinic (referred by a family friend) for a couple of minor issues; I was treated extremely well by everyone there. The wait was not nearly as long as with my previous MD, with whom I had scheduled appointments and the office hours are great. Allen Imes & his staff are always extremely professional yet they conduct themselves in a very friendly & relaxing atmosphere. The offices and rooms are very clean & well kept. I plan to use them as my urgent care and primary care.

To the woman who left her credit card information for a bill, I have done this plenty of times at many different medical offices I have been to when I owe them money! I always get a courtesy call when they are running my card. Its business, not only do I do this at Family Medical Clinic and have never had a problem, I have done it with my kids with their dentist office. As for the practice and providers they are AWESOME! We would not take our family anywhere else in this state! I highly recommend them to anyone and stand behind them all the way!!!!!!

My entire family received excellent care at FMC. We were patients of Allan Imes and was very thorough with his examinations. Allan cared for me, my wife and our three young boys. The entire staff was great and treated us all like family. I would highly recommend the clinic to anyone. There hours are very convient for working families and make it easy to get care outside of typical work hours.

My wife and I have been patients at Family Medical Center for several years now and have received excellent care. The staff is attentive and respectful and Allan Imes always goes over and beyond what we normally would expect. He is to the point, and detailed in his treatment options and plans. Thanks Guys.

I have never been so impressed with a Dr's office in my life! I went in with a simple cold and saw Dr Allen. He found a suspicious looking mole on my neck and sure enough it was pre-cancer. Theres not many doctors out there that stop and focus on things that you didn't even come in for. This is exactly what I have been searching for my whole life...not just a doctor who knows what they are doing but one who takes the time to talk to me, explain to me and really care! In addition, my daughter told me she would never see anyone else again ... "Mommy, I like him!" Thank you, thank you , thank you Allen!!
