This review will be a little different than the others. UWD wanted to do everything right in installing my window, like they do with every client. In my situation, however, human error crept in and there were multiple delays in our installation.

But that's where the bad stops.

At this point, most contractors would quietly hide and pretend there is no issue, or that the delays were somehow the fault of the customer. Not UWD. They behaved ethically and quickly did everything in their power to remedy the bad situations which were created.

Even though doing business with UWD was a rocky experience, the dignity with which they treated me, the way they handled mistakes, and the good people (including Jason, the owner) mark a best-in-class company and will make me a future customer for all my window & screen needs.

Universal Windows Direct replaced all the windows in my house. Not only do I love the appearance of the new windows, I've seen a decline in my heat bills too!
