I went in for an appointment at 5:30...waited 30 minutes then said i'll come back another time then all of the sudden i'm now allowed to sit at a nail booth and wait another 10 minutes. Once someone came over i told them i wanted a gel manicure which i found out costed 85$ after tip, it looked decent. Nothing special. What really pisses me off is i just spent $85 for them ALL to pop off within 2 days!! I called and they said "I cant refund you but come in and we'll fix it" Screw that! This is not the first time I've been here and this happened, i went about 3 months ago and got a gel fill over acrylics which they said would be "fine", the guy ended up buffing my nails down until they bled! I kept saying it hurt but he said he had to do it. I mustve forgotten how terrible this place was. They do not care about you because they know you will be replaced by another person who doesn't know how bad they are. I will never ever ever be going back here again, I've ended up going to beauty creations and they are by far exceptional and will be recommending them to all my friends. You've been warned people.

Be prepared to spend a ridiculous amount of time there. They have no respect for appointment times & think nothing of leaving you waiting 25+ minutes before starting your service. If you want to spend over an hour & a half getting a standard pedicure, this is the place for you.

I'm so glad I found this place. Honestly none of the nail salons around here can compete. I am always satisfied. Essence nails is very clean and everyone that works there are very professional. Aside from nail services they also offer massages and waxing. They have a great collection of nail polish as well including OPI and Essie. I highly recommend this place and my favorite technician Regina, she's the best. =)



They are located in the Kmart (West Fall) Plaza which is very convenient.
