At KIDSS, Kids Interacting Developing Social Skills, all children have the opportunity to develop social skills in order to build and improve their self-esteem and become socially thinking kids at home, in the classroom, on the playground and everywhere they go in their ever changing world. Our Social Skills Groups provides children on or off the spectrum with an opportunity to: * Develop age appropriate play skills * Increase awareness of self and others in a social setting * Identify personal feelings and appropriate expression of those emotions * Understanding that others have feelings and thoughts * Improve attending skills * Initiate and engage in turn taking behaviors and conversational skills * Establish and maintain friendships * Learn problem solving skills and conflict resolution techniques * Learn and practice social thinking® concepts established by Michelle Garcia-Winner
