My family and I have lived in the complex twice over the past 15years. We lived in the building up front with the office in it for around 4 years and then again in the building behind the playground for another 2 years. The only reason we moved in the first place was because we found a large house for low rent but the owners decided to sell it after we moved ! We came back and Lisa welcomed us as if we had never left.
For the maryville area you will not find more honest , kindhearted , and hardworking people to run an appartment complex. Over the years any time we had problems with anything in the unit David would be there in a jiffy with a genuine smile on his face to save the day. These people take pride their jobs I can honestly say.
The other reviews on here are from people that were evicted because they didn't pay their rent or were jerks if I had to bet money. Honestly the only thing that has any truth to their reviews is the fair price and the names of the people working there. I had noise problems from a neighbor that liked to throw party's all the time and get stupid. I notified the management and you had better believe those people didn't bother me again.

I have been living here for about 6 months now. The apartments are not the fanciest, but have everything that is needed. It was very clean with everything in working order upon entering. This development does not have security at night, so if there is a noise issue, the best thing to do is to call BCSD, however I have not had any issues with noise. The management and maintenance have always been friendly. Lisa and David always greet you with a smile and a wave when they see you. I guess you are treated the way you treat people. General maintenance inspections are performed with prior notice and the few maintenance needs I had were addressed very quickly. The price you cannot beat compared to other apartments in Blount County. I have been very happy living here and recommend this complex to anyone. Again this is not an upscale development, but its a good place to call home.

I must say,that after living h...

I must say, that after living here for over 2 years, the worst thing has got to be the NOISE. You hear everyone, and everything. You hear every step your neighbors take. If they choose to stomp around right above your bed,all night, every night, don't expect management to give a rats *ss. They know what they can get away with, and they do get away with it. And everything in the previous review is correct. The managers are quite rude, and will not give a damn about your problems with the place,or it's extremely noisy tenants. If it's a safety issue,or life threatening...don't expect them to care. However, like the previous review stated,if you are like me & going to live apartment life,in Maryville, for $500 a month...it's probably one of the better options. But,only compared to other cheaply built apartments in this sorry excuse for a city. Sometimes you gotta do like me & grit your teeth & bear it when are poor, your spouse insists on being near family,& they refuse to move as well. It is what it is,and that's the most accurate review that can be given for this place.

It's hard for me to rate this ...

It's hard for me to rate this apartment complex according to stars, because sadly, in Maryville, and in Blount County, there are not many apartments in the $500 price range to choose from, and although these are probably some of the absolute nicest in town, you are talking about a town with horrible options to choose from.

Something people need to understand about Blount County TN is that the laws that are in place to determine what is required of landlords and maintenance people are little to none. There are more laws pressed on landlords and maintenance people in city limits, however, in either case, how many people who are so poor (and living in $500 range rentals) can afford the time and money to hire or find legal representation to help fight for their rights.

The best thing to do is to become educated about YOUR RIGHT. For example, one of the best things to be aware of is what the law is regarding noise ordinances at night. And absolutely any time there is suspicious, harrassing, vandal, disruptive, abusive, drug, PI, DUI, minor's unattended, etc, go to BCSO.com and submit a very detailed online report, and also call BCSO (Blount County Sheriff's Office Dispatch).

The landlord and maintenance at the apartment complex are at times very rude, but you also have to consider, they deal with a lot of horribly rude, and stupid people. It does not make it okay for them to take their frustration out on everyone else. It is not okay at all, but I would suggest placing your complaints with the police whenever possible.

David rides a motorcycle up and down the parking lot with an infant on the front. Good lord. What is he thinking? And why have David and Lisa let the giant wooden playground equipment fall into such disrepair. The entire thing is literally collapsing, leaning and cracking. It has got to be a serious liability and insurance risk. I wonder who insures their property??? On top of the play equipment, it's roof has a big hole in it. When that whole thing comes cumbling down and crushes some poor child or mother or grandchilld, then what will they do???

Seriously people. Get it together!
