THE GOOD PHYSICIAN

September 09, 2009Dr. James Dalla Riva performed an endometrial abilation on me in May 2007. This outpatient procedure took less than 30 minutes and was a great success. Sharp frequent crimping lasting for a short time was the only noticeable side effect. Dr. Dalla Riva is a skillful physician and I would recommend him to others. His personal skills, however, needs improvement. Specifically, he nees to learn to listen to his patients and not be in such a hurry to move to the next person in line. Dr. Dalla Riva must also learn to display geniune concern for patients and not as if he is a used car salesman trying to close a deal when discussing medical options. While a patient may not have the medical knowledge of a physician, the questions and comments provided by the patient may prove invaluable to the physician attempting to provide treatment.
