Had a motor buil by CSD in the same building with Autogear. CSD said Autogear could do the engine swap. I agreed to the price the owner of Autogear gave me. 55 days later Tee with auto gear said they had done all they were capable of doing knowing the the car was not running correctly. Tranny was not shifting correctly ( also bought at CSD ) installed by Autogear. I limped the car home and have not got it right yet. Autogear charged me double their estimated costs stating they had to fabricate a lot of things. This was a small block removal and putting in another small block.... They could not pull it off at my expense. Autogear and CSD did not deliver or stand by their word.
I have no idea how good the CSD motor might be as they said they would help get it running correctly but did not even attempt. Never again!!!!

After they sale you a motor, your no longer important! If your motor fails , they make excuses as to why its not covered on there 1 year crap warranty. Do not buy from them. There work is junk and the heads they used (pro Comp) is also junk heads. 2,800.00 paper weight now. I see tony at the shows and he avoids me.
Do not buy from CSD!!

I would recommend csd engines to anyone , I bought for my 67 el camino, I got the 350 with 290 horse , I changed the cam from it to a stock 300 to 375 horse , cause I wanted vacuum for my brakes , motor they did at csd ,it is bullet proof , great runner , and I would go back and buy another one , , I have not had a problem what's so ever , ,I put motor in July , and it is now April , I drive my el co everyday , it never fails me , so if you are on the fence , please give csd. A try! Good warranty and good work on building motors ,
