LOve..LOve..LOve this practice! I don't know what happened to the the lady the wrote the other review.. but i was completly satisfied with my visit. The nursing Staff treated me so well and i was very very nervous when i got there but the lightned the mood for me. The made me Laugh the reassured me that everything would be ok. Maybe the one that didn't have a great experience was having a bad day and was expecting way more than imaginable i'm not sure. but i would recommend this practice to everyone. oh yes!1 and they have a phlebotomist that can draw blood without you even feelIng it!! yes!! im in love with my new OBGYN!!

I am desperately trying to forewarn others to this particular practice. This has been quite an ordeal in that I experienced frustration after frustration. It definitely went from bad to worst. I saw this Dr twice. It took a long time before I was seen even though I was the only client when I arrived. The older women at the front desk was harsh and rude. I then spoke with a nurse who left me in the hallway several times, even when I repeatedly asked where I needed to go or do since I was a new patient. The staff seemed out of sorts and not aware of procedures. I went to Dr's Office. She did not introduce self and obtained minimal history. I was then told rather abruptly that I needed to go back in waiting room to pay for procedure. I asked why not billing insurance and ended up having to pay prior to insurance claim submission. Little was explained to me during the painful procedure. After the exam, the Dr did not take stirrups down or end of table that slides in on both times, making it hard to get off table. I was never called about results, so I called. I was told one thing on phone and then another second contact. I decided would be best for referral to specialist in Roanoke. I had to make multiple calls to the nurse trying to get her to make referral. When I spoke to her(nurse), she did not know name of doctor or her expertise. When I asked when she would make referral she said that day and would call that afternoon. Needless to say, I never received call. I called next day and was told nurse would call back. I asked for records to be sent to my PCP, but was told they could not as had to sign release at my PCP's Office? I questioned this, particularly when told earlier records sent to other Dr? I pointed out discrepancy and this lady said could send because of my needing surgery. No one said that I for sure needed surgery. The nurse called me back when I expressed my displeasure. She said records would be sent. I also told her how dissatisfied I was with my encounters with this Medical a Practice! I know this is long, but I wanted other women to know there are serious problems with this office!
