Provided by YP.comMy family and I had never dealt with a house fire before. Easter Sunday, we awoke to an electrical fire in our home. Luckily, the fire did not consume our home only causing major damage in the kitchen. The smoke did, however spread through the entire home. As day broke, the firetrucks were rolling up their hoses. Within an hour, MasterDry was at our home to discuss the cleanup. Thanks to MasterDry, I have a new understanding as to what happens to a home even after a small fire such as ours. I expected several days to pass before the insurance company came out to give us direction before a restoration company such as MasterDry could begin. MasterDry assisted in processing our claim and were sucking the water from the firetrucks out of our home by noon. MasterDry explained to me that they needed to address the water damage before they could address the fire and smoke damage to keep the water from spreading and doing more damage. Had we waiting several days before hiring a restoration company, we could have potentially had mold growing in our home that we planned to live in again. Another huge benefit of having MasterDry there the same day was quickly cleaning and saving family memories. I have several silver items such as servers and vases that belonged to my grandmother that were antiques when she acquired them over 50 years ago. MasterDry quickly cleaned the soot from them. Had MasterDry not been there on day one, we may not have been able to save my grandmothers silver as the corrosive soot would have pitted the silver causing irreparable damage. We have been back in our home since May, but just unpacked the last box yesterday. Thanks again MasterDry!
