Doesn't accept transfers or deliveries of assault rifles... If a gun is California legal why on earth can they not do business with me ?

Customer service is terrible.
If you call be prepared to have the lady ask the phone and hanging up on you while your still asking questions. This happen 3 times. VERY RUDE and horrible customer service. I asked for the inventory over the phone there response " there all over the store I don't know". Really? How about checking the file and seeing what's in stock rather than being lazy.
Spoke to the manager and he backed her rudeness with a "we are very busy here" response. It does not matter how busy you are, you do not treat your customers and newcomers unwanted like they are nagging you. We are the ones who are giving you money for a service, not the other way around. I will not be purchasing a firear

They'll be square with you combining knowledge & professionalism. Don't ask extremely foolish questions "like your 8 yr. old daughter would ask" about the business and sport of firearms and you'll recieve a solid answer. Ron, Zack & associates are very high caliber men and won't put the screws to you.

Ron and his guys are very helpful. The selection is the best in the area. I recently had 2 pistols fixed there. They were back by the end of the week and they did not charge me for one of them! Great place to go

Canyon Sports has what I believe to be the largest selection of guns and shooting accessories in the East Bay. They carry a large selection of rifles, shotguns and handguns as well as a large selection of cleaning and shooting supplies. They also carry a nice selection of gun safes.





Unfortunately they will not give prices over the phone and their "sticker" price is at or above MSRP. However, they are willing to haggle and most times you can walk out knowing you got a good deal.





The staff are friendly, however they are not totally up to date on current firearms laws and regulations, they also tend to individually push their "preferred" manufacturer and will talk down others. (Unfortunately this is all to common in California gun stores as of late.) If you are new to buying firearms don't make Canyon Sports your first stop, however once you know what you are looking for make sure you go in.





All-in-all I have never had a negative experience in the store and have walked out with many a good deal!
