The idea for "Best of Luck" was born of a couple of loves... a family baking together and the desire to create and be settled here in the beautiful rolling meadows of Virginia's hunt country. The recipe and packaging for Horseshoe and Nails Shortbread Cookies were developed and perfected over a period of five years, and HUNT COUNTRY FOODS was founded and incorporated in 1986. Our goal was to produce a selection of unique specialty food products, made of the best ingredients, handsomely packaging with care, and shipped throughout the world for pleasure and delight. Over the years new varieties of shortbread were created and more choices in packaging were designed to better serve the many occasions that call for "Best of Luck." Horseshoe Chocolates were added to feed both our customers passions for chocolate and their requests for smaller presentations that say "Best of Luck." Chocolate JAZZ! bars and LUSCIOUS LIPS were born in the new century and prove irresistible to all ages.
