July 1st we were traveling with our fifth wheel camper in tow and looking forward to a 4th of July weekend. We encountered some less than ideal road conditions through Indiana that I have no doubt contributed to the failure of my rear trailer axle. A passing motorist alerted us to our trailer having a problem and I then noticed I was missing a wheel. I had lost not only the wheel, but also everything that the missing end of the spindle previously held on. It was nearly 9pm and we found Eddington’s Wrecker Service listed on the internet. We called and explained our situation to the man that answered the phone and said he would be right out to see if he could help us. He arrived not long after the call and was very professional. He helped me to evaluate the extent of damage and what options I had to get back on the road. He assisted us getting our rig moved over to their facility to get it off of the road and we talked about a plan for repairs. I thankfully picked up all of the parts needed for the repair. We called and were on our way back with the parts in hand. In all of the chaos it wasn’t until this moment that I realized that it was his name on the truck! We arrived back there with the parts and was met with great hospitality. In my profession I work frequently with towing/recovery companies and vehicle service companies and these guys at Eddington’s are of the best class act service I have encountered in a very long time! The two young men that repaired my trailer were extremely hard workers and did a great job with the repair! We were back on the road and they were out by closing on Friday. I cannot thank the folks at Eddington’s enough for getting us back on the road within 24 hrs. Thank you Kim!! Quality of work was ok, but at $550 per hour we could have gotten the same result for a lot less money. We couldn't figure out why it took them 4 hours to do a 1 hour job. We figured it out when we got the bill.

My truck had a flat close to their shop so i went there. They ripped me off 380$ for used trailer tire.

On Wed., Jan 12th we were involved in a car accident on I-70 just outside of Marshall. After being taken to our motel by a state police woman, we called Edington to pick up our....it was a real mess. Later that day we walked to the towing company....one of the men helped us unload our items from the car and put them in a truck. He then took us back to the motel and helped us carry the items into the motel. On Friday of that week, we went back to get our tags off the car. Another employee went out into the cold and took our tags off.



Everyone we dealt with here was efficient and very kind to us during this particular stressful time and we appreciated it very much. It must be that mid west "down home" courtesy we've heard so much about. We live in northern Virginia outside of Washington, D.C. and I'm not sure we would have had the same service and courtesy here.
