I had my daughter in this school for a month and a half. We had just moved from out of town. The location was convenient. The staff led me to believe they were doing big things and my daughter was in good hands. I was misinformed from day one. The school is very unorganized. On a day to day basis, I'd pick my daughter up from a different class with a different teacher (over crowded rooms). A few of the staff had bad attitudes. One of the teachers told my daughter "I don't want to hear it" when my daughter came to her for remediation. The assistant director is suspect, so going to her for resolution did not guarantee that anything was ever done or said to rectify the situation. Also, the center was the filthiest of any day care my daughter has ever attended - and there have been a few. At the end of the day, the rooms should not smell as bad as I have smelled them. Lysol wipes go a long way! After all my patience and full price tuition, my daughter's parting gift was hands-foot-and-mouth disease. I informed them as soon as I knew what the problem was. The assistant director said she'd post something to alert the parents. I wouldn't be suprised if she didn't. Whether or not most the parents receive some type of finanical assistance, everyone deserves a caring, responsible, and clean enviroment for their children. The Children's House 1 shouldn't be shut down, but they definitely need to get it together.
