Steven L McCune, MD, PhD is an Atlanta native who joined the cancer care team Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers NGOC in Marietta upon completion of his Fellowship at Duke University in June 2002 With a special interest in lung cancer, Dr McCune is actively involved in cancer research and clinical trials to find a cancer cure and provide his patients with the most advanced cancer treatment available in Georgia He is the Director and Principal Investigator of NGOCs William S Gibbons Cancer Research Institute Dr McCune provides patientcentered cancer care at NGOCs Marietta Cancer Center and Cherokee Health Park
