I call Mr. Plumber for any plumbing need I have. I always appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to do whatever is needed. They are always a huge help and extremely professional.

First of all I have a hard time believing any company that has so many one star ratings also has a bunch of 4 and 5 star ratings. And why do those reviews all sound so similar -- "they came when they said, they fixed the problem without any issues and then left". My Hero! The 1 star ratings always have specific incidences and dialog. Now I would never accuse Mr Plumber of writing their own reviews; but if you did, you guys need to be a little more creative. At lease put in some stuff about how people call you wonderful or how swell you are.
Here is my story:
They really did come right away, they really did fix the pin size leak in the pipe without any problems (it only took 30 minutes) and they really did charge me $394.34. But lets be fair about this, $49 was for the "Service Charge" and the 3 inch piece of pipe they used must have cost at least $1. So if you are look for a plain ol' plumber that does the same thing that any other plumber can do - except that they charge almost $700.00 per hour, then Mr. Plumber is the company you want.

I'm not going to waste alot of your time addressing the first part of your comment except to say that Im not sure what all 1 and 2 star ratings you are talking about-I only saw 1 other and that was from a couple years back. Some of our older reviews were not what we wanted for our company so we have been working very hard on making our customer service world class. In this age of online reviews a company can figure out how to do their own reviews,I'm sure, just as customers can write anything about a company-whether it's true or not. Thats why we encourage anyone who would like to know about us to look us up on the Better Business Bureau or Angies List. Services like these have members and the practice you are speaking of is not possible on those. We are not perfect but we are very proud of our record and do our best for our customers. Your issue with the repair we made is definately understandable. Since I don't have your information I dont have a way to look at the call and see what the situation was. I can tell you that our technicians use a flat rate pricing book-so If I had your information I would be glad to make sure you were charged correctly. Also it is our policy that a technician give a price up front and get the customers authorization before doing or charging anything more than our $49.00 service fee. We do this so a customer always has the choice to use us or to check out other avenues before deciding what to do. We want everyone that uses us to be glad they did. Chad from Coolray is the best of the best! We’ve had other technicians from other companies, but they don’t compare. Now we always use Coolray and always ask for Chad. He is excellent.

He is an excellent technician and we are so glad you request him when you call in. What we want is to build long term relationships with our customers and having such a great group of technicians really helps that. It is so nice to have an appointment and the same person shows up time after time. I know in cases that I have a service in my home, such as my exterminator, he's been doing my home for 4 years now. He knows what he has done each time and when and I trust him to tell me what I need. That really helps when you know nothing about their field! I hope that Chad provides you with that same security!. I have a maintenance contract with Coolray. They came for the scheduled appointment and they replaced a sensor part without me having to ask at no cost. They did a great job.

We have had Cool Ray for about seven years and have had a very mixed experience with them. After they had installed a new unit about seven years ago, everything was going fine until about two years ago. At that time we learned that the maintenance was done improperly and the unit became very dirty, they had to replace the compressor. Although this was done at their expense, it created a great inconvenience for my family. Today we had to call out a technician for what turned out to be the need for additional freon for our unit. The serviceman was so cold and rude, we have now decided we will no longer use Cool Ray for our next maintenance contract when it comes time for renewal in about three or four months. There must be companies with better service than this. I originally wrote this in June. Since that time we had the same exact incident with freon occur again. This is something which should not be happening twice in three months- and they charged us extra each time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know of your experience with us. I apologize that you felt our technician was rude to you. Did you call into the office and let us know of your issues? I would be really interested to know which technician it was so we could insure he is talked to about his attitude. I would really like the oppurtunity to discuss these things with you and see if there is anything we could do to make you reconsider staying with us. Every customer is important to us, but we would really hate to lose a customer that has been loyal for 7 years! I hope to hear from you soon.
