My experience with Stanley Dental was a huge hassle involving misrepresentation and inappropriate humor. They do not do free consultations. Led me to believe they were willing and able to do the work I requested. After 2 and a half hours of small talk and a weird picture taking session Dr. "Ricky" shared his hokey personal theory as to what people notice during a first impression. Eyes then mouth. If one of these points are off, the observer can't take their eyes off that point. Causing them to be distracted. Dr "Ricky" felt my teeth were more attractive with the 2 veneers. Although there was no medical reason they should not be removed he said he would not take them off. However he said my bite was off a millifraction and offered to shave off any teeth that got in the way of my experiencing a perfect fit, " Like moving chairs". Then Dr. "Ricky" made a tacky and offensive joke and did not hint at an apology. The receptionist declared everything I said opinion and that Dr." Ricky" said I payed for what I got. Too bad that was not why I was there.

I am over 50 years of age and have had mercury amalgam fillings, root canals and even nickel crowns for most of my dental life. In November 2008, as I struggled into Dr. Johnny R. Stanley's office (he was practicing in Big Spring, Texas, at the time), unknown to me, my mouth was filled with chronic infection (from root canal work and the result of almost a decade of gum tissue reaction to nickel crowns and a residue of mercury filling(s). Dr. Stanley diagnosed the condition(s) with state-of-the-art equipment and a knowledge of dentistry that convinces me he is the best dentist I have ever been too.



So, as you can imagine, I highly recommend him. Here's to your health!
