Established in 2002, The Oaks is a four-story, wood frame building that includes over 90 apartments spread over 1,000 to 2,000 square feet of space. Oakwood Village West Life Lease Apartment Homes is a part of Oakwood Village, which is a Lutheran, church-sponsored organization for senior citizens. Founded in 1947, the parent organization also manages memory care and independent and assisted living facilities. It administers the Oakwood Foundation, which offers financial support for the residents of the organization. Oakwood Village is accredited by the Continuing Care Commission.
