Midvale Heights is a great place at a great place. I share a three bedroom now and will be switching to a one bedroom in the summer. Both units are well maintained and the property manager is quick to respond to any and all requests.

I was a bit nervous about moving into an older building, but the maintenance and management have been highly responsive and proactive with repairs and updates.
Also, I've never had an issue with finding a place to park on the street (my roommate has our parking spot).
This is a great place that I happily refer friends to!

I normally don't write reviews but after living at Midvale Heights for the past three years I have to share how great living here has been.



What separates Midvale from the other complexes I've previously lived in is, how the management and maintenance team have been extremely helpful and kind since the day I moved in. For example, earlier this winter my key broke in my lock when I was coming home late one night from work, thankfully the manager, Brenda, answered my phone call and personally made sure I was able to get out of the cold and into my warm home with ease. Her immediate response, despite the time and frigid weather, showed me how much the management truly values its residents and cares for their needs.

I would NOT live here again. It is a nice location but you get what you pay for. There is a reason why the rent is the cheapest you can find for that size. The on-site manager is terrible (I would like to say worse things... but I don't want the review to be deleted. Terrible is putting it nicely.). If you honestly can't afford anything better this place is ok, but if you can afford more go elsewhere. The hallways smell like moth balls and old cigarettes and the walls are paper-thin. There are a lot of water equipment issues so don't count on having hot water when you need it. The manager offers referral incentives, so don't believe the positive reviews. Nope. Never again.

Midvale is a great place to live. The manager is like no other. She will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. The place is older but it includes free heat and is well taken care of. If you are looking for a well taken care of place that will respond to all of your needs look no further then Midvale Heights

Great place to live; heat is included which is not common in Madison. The manager goes above and beyond to fix things and to help you out at any time of the day. I love living here and the service I receive is top notch!

The move in was made very easy. Brenda the manager made sure that we wrote everything on the check in list no matter how small. Then the next day maintenance was in to fix it. Maintenance repairs are very quickly done and done right. Whenever I see Brenda she asks if I need anything. Very clean place inside and out.

The other reviewer is right. Really thin walls. Will hear everything. Place is dirty. Cigarette butts everywhere. Trash and recycle come once a week so the bins are always full and spilling over. Parking lot is awful in the winter.

I did not like living in these apartments. First of all, you can hear everything your neighbor is doing, even saying. The Manager is just not a nice person either, it seems that she tries to get into her residents business too much and she is plain out mean. I felt very uncomfortable living there and if I would have guests over the manager would immidietly want to have them sign in etc. If I am paying for rent for my apartment I should be able to have guests over without the hassle of having them go sign in every single time. I do not recommend this place, unless you don't mind your neighbors hearing everything you do.
