My hard drive crashed while I was completing the final edits on my dissertation. I had all of my WORD files, but lost all of the files associated with my bibliography program. I had two friends who work in IT try to find and save these files. They recovered some files, but nothing that I did not already have backed up. So, I shopped around on the internet for data recovery specialists. Gillware was significantly less expensive than most of the others and they had some good reviews, so I sent the drive to them. It was a holiday weekend, so it took 8 working days, but they recovered everything I needed. It still ain't cheap, but well worth the price. I should also mention that everyone that I have spoken with on the phone has been helpful and very professional.

I sent a bad drive with 82GB of precious family photos and videos to WeRecoverData.com. They took two full months to notify me that recovery was "technically impossible". I subsequently sent the drive to Gillware and in much less time time they recovered my data at a cost that was better than competitive.
