Very bad customer service and management experience.

I had a bad experience with the Firestone East Towne in Madison, WI less than a week after I bought 4 tires from them. One of the tires was losing a lot of air, so the vehicle was brought back in. They apparently found a very tiny piece of porcelain that went through the tread of the tire. The manager said they could do nothing for me, because Firestone is a National Company. Yes, I kid you not "National Company". I have a son that works for a very popular National Comapny and they make sure their customers are happy. I was told I had to buy a new tire at full price. Yes, full price, again because they are a National Company and they have no control. I was told I should have bought road hazard, which was never offered to me at the time of sale. When the manager was told that, he said they get pretty busy and I should have made an appointment. Apparently that meant I would get better customer service? If in fact the Tire Manager has no control on what they can do to satisfy a customer problem, thats very poor business management. It has nothing to do about being a National Company. I should have been offered a new tire at cost or discounted price. That's what good customer service is. Also the tire manager needs to take management/customer services classes for his rudeness.
