The company, founded in 1947, supplies products to independent grocers and serves more than 700 retailers in Virginia. It operates out of an over 170,000-square-foot modern distribution center located in central Virginia and provides a variety of products, such as groceries, cigarettes, candy and beverages. The wholesaler is a cooperative, owned by its members who are also its customers. The profits collected are distributed back to the members based on the amount of merchandise purchased from it.
