This coin shop has very friendly people and a wide selection of coins. If they don't have it, just let t hem know what is on your want list and they will call you when it comes in. Very impressive and clean shop with the most selection of coins I have seen in one shop since I have been in the Seattle area.

Here are the facts: we do not quote a percentage buy on scrap. We never have and never will. We use a formula that works out to 66.68%. You asked my employee if we paid 70% and she responded that she did not know. She did not know because I just now computed the percentage. If anyone, including you, asked what we pay, we would respond .0125 X melt per gram on 14kt. I had no idea you were using your phone to compute the price...would not have cared if I had known. But when you started arguing with me and yelling at Sarah, I did tell you to "give the pleasure of dealing with you to someone else". There is no justification for my employees or myself to be yelled at or insulted. You can try and harm my business all you want, but you know your comments are both misleading and indefensible. Some folks just like to stir the pot. I hope you have a better day.

I came in and asked the Coin Market how much they pay for scrap gold and they told me 70% of scrap value. So I came back with my gold and they gave me a quote that seemed low. I asked if they're offer was the 70% of scrap value that I had been quoted and the employee said she did not know. Only after I started to do the math on my cell phone calculator the owner tells me that they don't really pay 70%. I calmly and professionally said that I would rather take it somewhere else rather than except they're offer. The owner remarked "yeah, take the pleasure of doing business with you somewhere else." So I did and got 88% instead of less than 70%.

This shop carries both US and foreign coins. I find the staff to be very friendly and informative. Parking is not as spacious since they are located in a small strip mall. The best time to come is in the morning or early afternoon when parking is available. George the owner is very friendly and has a lot of knowledge. They are very fair especially when buying coins. Russ is the guy you go to for foreign coins. I highly recommend them.
