My husband and I asked Bill to refinish a round oak pedestal table with leaves (Victorian style) that opens to seat twelve. The existing finish was dark and unappealing. He took the table apart, moved it to his shop and stripped it. The resulting finish was a warm gold-colored oak with a beautiful wood grain. He also repaired the veneer on the circumference of the table. I would unhesitatingly recommend Bill: he was prompt, completed the project quickly, charged a very reasonable price and did a wonderful job. He was also very pleasant to work with.

I am delighted to recommend WF Healey for any kind of restorative work. I have used other restorers but have not found them adequate to the task. Healey is different. I have an antique chair that was in rough shape, dull and lifeless, but of great sentimental value. He restored it beautifully, and it is now a piece I am very proud to have in my living room. I then asked him to restore an antique buffet because the chair turned out so well. At first I hesitated because the buffet still looked good, but I thought it could look even better, and he agreed. His work left it looking like a museum piece. I am very happy. I will use him again without any reservations. He is the best at his field that I have encountered so far.

I had an old mirror with birds reverse painted. Bill created a unique frame that really enhances the piece. I've seen some of his restoration work. He is a meticulous and talented artist in all he does.

Bill is an excellent furniture restorer; very knowledgeable about antiques, honest and very gifted. He's a pleasure to work with, and the work he did for me exceeded all my expectations. I also purchased some lovely antique furniture from him. I recommend him very highly.
