These people clearly are not trained to know anything about the animals they are keeping or the care for them including the tanks they stay in. ALL OF THEM. As an iguana expert i asked a couple questions. One of them being What the iguanas were eating. They replied lettuce as one example of them not knowing anything about the animal's because any iguana owner would know lettuce has 0 NUTRITION. And the first iguana i ever got from them had no uvb light in its cage which caused it to die a month later from improper care. Also one of the funniest parts is when i walked in and saw the iguana cage and they were trying to create another species of iguana to make some extra money unless this falls back in the category of them not knowing anything about the animals but there is no such thing as "green iguana red". If anything it should be labeled red phased iguana but these were clearly green with a tint of bronze because they were trying to regulate their body temp. Other animals in the back are all in tiny cages that arnt suitable to live in. Not to mention they were illegally selling a 6,000 dollar monkey . On top of this with more research come to find out walters zoo area is completely illegal . There are supposed to be so many acres of land to harbor as many animals they carry. Especially the bigger ones that just have enough room in the tank to turn around. Im surprised PETA hasnt stopped in yet. Not because its illegal but for the sake of the animals . its wrong.

Best pet store in town

It's obvious that the staff cares for both the animals and the customers, they're more than willing to answer any and all questions and they take good care of their animals. Even the ones in the 'Jungle' are well cared for and content.

amazing store, its like a mini zoo

My little brother would always go to look at the animals & was always buying different sorts of snakes & reptiles. The people from Walters have always been good to everyone I know that has gone or call for questions. I would always recomend them!
