About Miller Waldrop Furniture and Decor Miller Waldrop Furniture and Decor was established in 1952 by its founders Barney Waldrop and Alex Miller. Barney, who worked at the Sears Furniture department, had a dream of owning his own business and bringing top quality home furnishings to a small town in southeastern New Mexico. He convinced his friend Alex to join him and the dream was born. Fast forward 60 years to Third Generation Owners and Operators Kent & Beckey Waldrop. The couple has been working in the business for the last 30 years, and the passion hasnâ??t changed.
