I had mild anxiety and depression. I was tired of feeling like I wasn't really living. Before finding Melissa I had seen a different counselor at a different company and did not receive any help. So I wasn't sure about trying counseling again and then I saw Melissa's listing on Good Therapy and Psychology Today and her words connected with me. So I took a chance and went to see her. She is wonderful. In a very short amount of time, my anxiety and depression were under control. I was taking steps toward the living the type of life I wanted to live! She always says you can create the life you want and she was there to help me every step of the way. To me, this is how counseling is supposed to work. I highly recommend Melissa at Life Transitions Therapy!!

My doctor wanted to lower my pain medication dosage. So I heard about Life Transitions Therapy from a co-worker and decided to give it a try, as the therapist is a disability and pain management specialist. Well, my therapist really helped with my pain management so I am able to continue to function in my daily life on reduced medication! I can't say enough good things about my therapist, Melissa. She not only helped me control my chronic pain on less meds but she also successfully treated me for my anxiety. I highly recommend her!
