We recently ordered $ 2800. in decking material from Menards and that was a big mistake. Delivery was much later than we were told and the board quality was terrible. We estimated that at least 60% of the boards were not the quality that we were told they would be. I asked the estimator what we would do if we had to return at 16 ft. board if there was a problem, (since we could put a 8 or 12 on our utility trailer) and was told that won't be a problem because you will not get any bad boards. Guess again. When we called Menards about the boards, we really got the run around and was told the manager would call us. Again, guess again. We were told that all their treated lumber was really good because they owned the plant that did the board treatment. We certainly will not using Menards for any of our future purchases.
