Not good... do not communicate with patients. I have had two situations where I am left wondering what exactly I am supposed to do to solve my health issues. It should not be that way

This staff at this location is not professional!! Absolutely the worst I have seen. They do not follow up on test results. Give incorrect information. The list goes on. If you are looking for medical care Do Not choose this office. If i could i would not even give 1 star.

absolutely the worst

My first visit to Goshen Family Practice was when I moved my family into Loveland in 1998. I have repeatedly tried to use this facility and it's services for years; because it's within a mile of my house. The turnover rate is inconceivable I've never been left with the feelings of being so un cared for by a physicians office in my life. The claims this office makes in their mission statement and advertising is absolutely contrary to the behavior of its staff. Occasionally they get real and competent doctors on staff and upon my next visit they are gone. Clearly there's something wrong here. Because of convenience I've persisted in my attempts to use this facility in hopes that; just maybe, one day they'll get their act together and for this reason I have not up to this point waged any formal complaint; that being said with this latest but of disrespect and neglect for rendering good medical services I would feel remiss in not doing so. All that I can say is that if your looking for a medical practice to be of service and operates with consideration for your needs and the needs of your family; seek another facility. I can't imagine there is a worse medical office anywhere in this city.

We've been there for over a year. It was close to the house, and we needed a pediatrician. The nurse practicioner we were assigned to has been fantastic, and I hate the thought of losing her. However, the office staff there is terrible. Consistently forgetting to send proper paperwork to labs, forgetting to send over request for refills, forgetting to send messages back to the doctor if you have a question. You have to keep calling and calling to get results if you did have lab work done because they won't call you with the results. Then you get excuses. I sat in the waiting room for our appointment and one of the girls was on the phone with a patient who had questions. And with every question, the girl on the phone would sigh, roll her eyes, shake her head, and make other gestures indicating that she just wanted to get off of the phone. Lady, this is a patient, who has questions. This is your JOB to answer them and to help this person out. And now that I'm seeing what you do when you are on the phone with patients, I don't think I want to stay if you're doing that when I call in.

Our child has had to get some bloodwork done to keep track of her iron as hers runs a little low. The lab tech they have there had problems drawing blood from an infant so they told us to go to Children's to get it done and that they were going to fax the lab request over. The first time when we get to Childrens, they can find no fax request and they had to call GFP to get them to fax it. The second time, I think surely they'd send it because the first time was a fluke and someone just forgot. Nope, get to Children's and one again, no fax from GFP and they had to call. The receptionist at Childrens chuckled, and when I inquired as to why, she said that this wasn't the first time they've had this issue with this practice. After that, I have been going in and having them print the request off and I take it to Children's myself. I don't trust them to fax it over anymore.

I went in for a UTI, and the doctor requested that the urine be sent to the lab for further testing. Rather than send it to the lab, it got flushed. However they told me that the lab lost it. The second time I went in for the same issue, they once again were to send the urine to the lab and told I'd be called in a couple of days with the results. 5 days later, I called back to get the results as no one had contacted me. I got very unspecific answers to my questions, which tells me they flushed it again.

Also, the offices are DIRTY! Looks like they haven't been cleaned in years. The floors need a good scrubbing, the walls have holes in them and scuff marks all over. Most of the rooms have a set of metal drawers in them that hold medical equipment, and these metal drawers are encased in rust. Not sanitary.

We're changing doctors. I'm done with this place. Too bad too. We really liked our NP. But when you have office staff that act like you're a burden to them, and consistently forget paperwork and lab work and never call you back, I have no trust. It's important to trust your doctor.

The Worst Health Care Ever Experienced.

First off, I was a patient at Goshen Family Practice for eight years. I have the knowledge of this office to be able to write an accurate review. (and I would not doubt that there is about to be a class action law suit against this office and their employees due to the fact that corporate is allowing the wrong things to happen and there are many many many people with the same gripes you'll read here).

If you have an appointment at Goshen Family Practice at 11 in the morning, don't expect to leave until somewhere around 2 at least. The office is completely over-booked. The receptionist is pitiful, so don't ask her why you've been waiting for so long because she will cry; literally. And this will not happen once or twice. This will be the case every single time you are in that office. Either sit down and get used to it and wait however long it takes or get dismissed; literally.

I took my daughter to the office to have blood drawn. The inexperienced woman that drew her blood left a bruise that lasted for at least a week. The blood didn't even come out of my daughter's arm. She got about two or three drops. The lady drawing the blood took the blood out of the room to the doctor and asked if it would be enough. It was disgusting, unsanitary and my daughter cried all the way home saying she never wanted to go back to that office again. Ever.

A few months ago, my son had a problem with his back. They sent him to a specialist to have some xrays done. I NEVER GOT THE RESULTS of those tests; despite having called to ask about them several times. No one ever knew what I was even talking about. I called the place where he had the tests done and they told me the results were sent to the doctor. Never did get the results. Fortunately, his back was okay.

A couple months ago, I requested my children's immunizations records from an office in another town that my children went to when they were younger. The letter that I signed to be mailed to the office in the other town was sent to ME at my home address stating these were not patients of theirs!!! It was supposed to go to the office in the other town to find out if my children were all up to date on their shots! That's pretty important! I called the other office and they said that they never heard a word about it.

Then, about a month or so ago, my son and I were in for an appointment and were told to come in the back door. I wasn't even able to go to the front and sign him in. A nurse said that she would do it. An hour passed and not even the nurse came in to check his vitals, so I asked. Why have we been sitting here literally an hour past our appointment time and haven't even seen the nurse to get my son's vitals? The receptionist threw a fit, started bawling her eyeballs out, I was escorted back to my room (because God forbid you go to the front of the office to make sure you were signed in and ask why you'd been waiting for an hour), and then we were properly dismissed from the location.

I am still in shock.

My daughter has epilepsy, I have heart palpitations. And they are just going to dismiss someone because they asked why they had been waiting for an hour past their appointment time. Of course, the whole story changes when they report it because they have to have an actual REASON WHY they dismissed a patient. Oh profanity was used and they felt threatened and all kinds of things.

ALL I DID WAS ASK WHY WE HAD BEEN SITTING FOR AN HOUR PAST OUR APPOINTMENT TIME AND SEEN ABSOLUTELY NO ONE.

The whole place is completely unorganized, unsanitary, over-booked, dramatic (I'm not the only one that complained - the receptionist told me that I was the last of everyone in the place to complain) and the staff is horrible as well.

Don't go there.

Pick another place. Drive the extra five or ten miles if you have to, but

DO NOT CHOOSE GOSHEN FAMILY PRACTICE.
