Avoid using this guy! We just ended up with more problems than we started with!

Hired him to complete several jobs. One was to install a plastic piece that goes between upper an lower window panes. He couldn't get it quickly with his hands so he used a hammer which caused the door to tilt and drag. On the same door he installed a sweep. He cut the metal off the bottom, bending the metal and leaving an exposed piece of metal that can cut someone. He told my husband that the door was not closing now and it would take him 2 more hours to fix it. At that point he was fed up with him as this was a problem he created and told him to leave it. When I called to speak with him about it he lied saying he didn't cut the metal and said he told my husband it would take only 15 minutes to fix but that he opted not to have it fixed. Now he wants to charge a minimum additional $65 to fix the problem he created.

Also asked him to better affix trim that was coming away from the wall, at the bottom, when pulled. We have wood trim throughout the house. He used large head nails to "fix" the trim. Now I have to pull the nails out, fill the large holes and put in the finishing nails myself. When asked he told me "you can paint the trim." To which which I replied, "It's wood trim, the entire house is wood trim."

This is my first time EVER reviewing anything but I felt it was my duty to warn others.
