DO NOT TAKE YOUR DRESS HERE!!! I took my wedding dress here to be altered since it was recommended by the place where I bought the dress. The entire experience ended up being a nightmare, and I almost did not have a dress to wear for my wedding. For starters she made the dress so small that when I took a deep breathe the clasp broke open. Then the bustle not only was not sewn through all layers of the dress on one side, but most of the ribbons were so frayed they could not even be tied. I had custom straps put on the dress that were beaded, and when we picked the dress up it looked like someone had accidentally cut the straps too short, and then still used them so the beads just were not there anymore. I had a beaded applique band on my dress that she did not bother to completely sew back on after working on my dress, and there was an opening in the seam that I could put 2 of my fingers through!

This being the condition of my dress the THIRD time she was suppose to be "fixing" the problems, and my wedding only 3 days away I decided to call the place where I had bought the dress and tell them what was happening. The owner opened her shop after hours and had me come in immediately, and had another seamstress meet us at the bridal shop. The dress was in such bad condition the new seamstress said she was going to have to deconstruct the dress to figure out what Sherry had done. The shop owner also had to give the new seamstress new beaded straps for my dress since the ones on the dress were beyond repair. She also had to pull beads off her stock dress in order to repair my dress that Sherry had ruined AND on top of it all the dress was dirty when I got it back and the dress shop owner had to clean it!

Sherry's consolation for RUINING my wedding dress the week of my wedding was a $200 refund....I paid her $600 for the alterations.

Sherry goes out of her way to give you what you want. Nothing is beyond her capabilites!
