Since 1989, Belgian Diamond of Los Gatos, California has been offering a full range of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires as well as high-end designer settings and custom designed pieces. Bob and Lisa Skubis - In the jewelery business since 1979, Bob is a Graduate Gemologist from G.I.A. and has wholesaled all sizes and quantities of diamonds and colored gemstones. With an emphasis on make ( proportions ), Bob can simplify the diamond choosing process and provide all your answers in a personal one-on-one or two presentation. Our large store inventory and instant access to the world gives you the advantage. Lisa is our jewelery buyer with an eye constantly focused on ever changing fashions. Whether in a buying meeting at the store or on a plane visiting the industries' freshest designers, quality remains at the top of the list. Tom is formally an east coast lad, raised in New Jersey and, for a time, upstate New York. He received some of his formal training at Farleigh Dickson University in New Jersey. He was a member of the US Navy, which brought him to California, from from 1964 through 1968. He started his professional career in the Jewelry business in 1968. His association with Bob and Lisa Skubis started in 1989 at Belgian Diamonds where he is the jewelry designer. Tom specializes in work using platinum and 18k gold and other jewelry metals and stones. The range of his design work covers styles from the delicate Edwardian era to the most modern contemporary designs. While making his designs unique, he strives to make every piece he creates practical and comfortable to wear. An unusual feature of his working method is that he uses computer created graphics to aid in working with his clients. He'll e-mail to his clients, any artwork and receive feedback, aiding in the design process. This helps the client get exactly what he or she desires.
