Whether you are a Korean or not,she is mean and rude. Compare to the poor service, the rent is not a good deal.

I made a huge mistake!!!!! Even though I read hoover_reviewer_001's review on the manager named Helen... I moved in. One of the worst mistakes I ever made. The manager Helen Bateman is a Korean old lady who is RUDE AND MEAN. Well, at least I'm Korean... If you are NOT Korean.... Don't move in!!! She is ONLY nice to those Korean tenants who give her a cash gift. If you don't give her any gift within 3 months, she will treat you like a crap. The apartment sucks too! I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE because of the manager Helen. I'm writing this review to warn you. Don't make the same mistake I made. I'm so glad that I moved out.

This place recently went through major renovation but what a money wasted. They made the entrance, lobby, and hallways look nice but the real problem lies hidden.



- Walls are SUPER-THIN (the ceiling is about to break loose on you whenver the upstair neighbors walk around, you hear chatters, TV's, neighbors making love - just a like cheap motel)



- Lots of cars passing thorugh on Hoover Street. Constantly and illegally double parked cars by the entrace yet no one's willing to do anything about it. Wannabe gangsters like to smoke and hang out by the apartment until late night.



Onsite manager is delusional and a lying *****. You ask to fix something, it takes minimum 2 weeks. She calls at nights, drop in at nights without notice, just because it's convenient for her to work at that time. You complain about the noise but does nothing at all. Rip off of your security deposit for the damage that was done by the previous tenant, even though she agreed earlier that it was there before and won't take it from you.

Don't trust anything she says. Read the lease thoroughly. Have everything in writing. Contact the management office directly. (310-278-8000 Beverly Hills Properties)

Helen is the worst , horrible ...

Helen is the worst , horrible manager I ever met.

She is only working for the management company, never try to help people who

are living in the building.

Elevator is under construction for more than 2 months,

indoor air quality is poor. Whole alley smells like a rotten fish.

I told her about the bad smell, then she said "It's not my responsibility".

I'm not asking responsibility, I'm asking for cleaning the smell, DA,,,,,

I have heard similar complains about manager from building neighbors.



How come a person like her can be a manager?????
