David texted me back within half an hour of my initial query, let me know what he guessed was the issue with our non-clothes-drying dryer, and came over to assess a few hours later, the same day!

Even better, he was polite, kind and good to talk with, as he checked out the situation. He discovered that the issue wasn't what he had guessed--not actually a mechanical problem, but a vent/placement problem. He fixed it within minutes (dryer works perfectly, again), gave me tips on maintenance, and asked for way less than his original quote.

I feel like I have a new friend, who's just super-handy and knowledgeable about washer/dryers. If you need washer/dryer repair & live anywhere near David, call this dude. Seriously.

In a word: AWESOME.

In a few more words: David is knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and very clearly cares about what he does. He not only fixed my dryer but took the time to explain to me how everything work and what I should buy if I ever decide to upgrade.

David is as trustworthy and honest as you can find in any business. I manage a duplex in mid-city and I hired him to fix a dryer in 2015. He did a wonderful job and its still working today! I called him back again for a different unit in 2016. After putting in the time and effort into fixing one problem, another surfaced that proved too costly to salvage the machine. He felt bad that the dryer could not be fixed and only charged me for the parts cost, which I definitely appreciated.

Bottom line, David provided fast, honest service, and was happy to explain the problem and recommend a solution even if it was not in his best interest (aka - getting a new machine instead of fixing the old one).

I have a 23 year old Whirlpool combo washer-dryer. The washing machine spin cycle stopped working, and the dryer vent tore and needed to be replaced. Before joining Angie's List, I had called a number of repair services, but they seemed unfamiliar with my model and I wasn't comfortable with their responses to my questions, nor with the estimates I was getting just to come out and look at it. David returned my call promptly, got specific info on the machine, and took the time to answer all my questions. We talked about the machine's problems and he gave me a reasonable estimate based on my description of what was happening with it. And then he told me that, at the machine's age, there were many more things likely to go wrong with it in the not-so-distant future, and suggested I'd be better off replacing it rather than repairing it (if I could afford to do so).

David, is the washer and dryer repair service guru. Our Samsung dryer was acting up, David was able to repair it and get it to work like new.He was one time, professional and clearly knew what he was doing.We are very happy that we hired David.If you need your dryer repair he is the man.

We hired David, The Washer and Dryer Repair Guru, for our LG washing machine. The machine was making a bad noise while in the spin cycle. The machine was inspected by the technician, we were very pleased, the problem was a part of the motor, stator, was damaged. The parts were replaced and the machine has worked great since. Exceptional and responsive washer repair service company. We reside in the Pico-Robertson area, this is a local business. The Maytag man is not around anymore, this is the next best thing.
The old school Maytag washer was full of water and would not advance through the cycles. We spoke with a very polite service technician. A diagnosis was made and a quote was given.
The washer was repaired for the price quoted and diagnosis was spot on.
