Love this place! Great alcohol selection, good cocktails, & virgin cocktail options. If you like sports this is the place for you. Watched the world cup here and had a blast! Also had food here a few times and thoroughly enjoyed my meal each time. There is a jukebox in the back which is a hoot as well!

This is our go-to place when we want a quick meal or when we need somewhere local to take guests. It even has the seal of approval from our rather unadventurous parents.



The drink selection includes artisan beers and lots of local (and far-flung) wines. I'm always able to get a great glass of Pinot Noir or Shiraz or sometimes enjoy



The menu is not huge, but the food is fresh and consistently good. There are even a couple of vegetarian-friendly dishes: the truffle grilled cheese, the mac and cheese, and the portobello burger.



If you want a quiet meal, don't go here on the weekend or when there's a Lakers game. A weekday night is best, when you'll easily get a seat in one of their comfy booths.



Don't be fooled by the slightly sketchy appearance of York Blvd, The York is a friendly and (almost) authentic British Gastropub - possibly the only one in LA.
