Great place. The chicken is great. The waffles are great. The service is great. And its a fun place to go to!

Roscoes Chicken & Waffles is by far an LA Gem. I crave it several times a month at the very least. My parents from back east tried it, loved it and have been making there own version ever since! The waffles are always good, but make sure you go when the chicken is just out of the fryer for the best taste of your life. Chicken & Waffles - it'll make a believer out of you too.

The food is amazingly good, I recomend that you take anyone that is new to the area. It is a great tasting food for CHEAP!!! I have to go there everytime I am in the area. I once drove at 11pm from Orange County with friends to eat there!!!

This was my first time going to Roscoe's. I was completely surpirsed by the low quality of their food. While their waffles were okay, they were certainly no the best I have ever had and their chicken was raw (VERY unhealthy). I cannot beleive that this is basically what they are known for and yet it was the worst thing on the menu. I did however really enjoy their scrambled eggs. But for that I could have stayed at home. Very disapointing is my overall view of this place.

Sure, if you want waffles, Roscoe's is a good choice for breakfast, but there are many other places I would go in the morning.

For lunch or dinner, however, Roscoe's is great anytime. Try the sweet potato pie. And be sure to clean your plate. Somebody's mom will be glad you did.

Most of you would hear ""Chicken & Waffles"" and think, what the hell? Is that what you really eat? Yes in Deed!! It's what you CAN eat out of the many other things and combinations provided in their menu, but I'd highly recommend that if you go here, ORDER THE SCOE'S special! You'll get the chicken and waffles, and you won't regret it! If I could make waffles like that at home, I wouldn't go there. They're gavy added on top of the chicken adds a GREATER taste to it, its so marvelous! It's not the typical ""fine dining"" but it's good eating, and if your in LA for a visit, you've got to go to Roscoes!!! It wouldn't be a visit without it!

It's good food, convenient and close. I live about 15 minutes from the one in Long Beach.

Awesome food. Many would not origiinally guess that the combo of chicken and waffles would make a good meal together...but somehow at Roscoes it just works. The best waffles, great fried chicken. Delicious!

Oh, I love Roscoe's but i thinkg they need to expand the restraunt a little more not even a little more alot more. the service could be a better to when you are waiting there could be people offering you drink and so on.......... but pther than that i like the food it's great

Roscoe's is fantastic fun, especially if you are lucky enough to be waited on by Mama herself! ""Mama don't allow no elbows on her table!""

Roscoe's Is just the SH*T! Their food you cant get replicated anywhere. Not even home. Regardless of which time you go eat, Its made from the soul.

Roscoe's provides a taste bud party and a calorie nightmare, to be enjoyed early so you have the rest of the day to work it off.

Okay, so chicken and waffles make no sense, but neither does scrapple and I figured I eat that. Although I have only had the Big Mama and the Chicken and Waffles, I would say that based on my dining experience, what they do they do well. It's not something I'd care to eat on a regular basis, but I always try to stop by at least once on my trips west. Make sure avoid peak hours, unless you like to wait.

The thought of eatting chicken and waffles together boggles the mind. Who ever thought of such a combination to be eatten during breakfast, lunch or even dinner? Though entering into any of their establishments will elude you from thinking, what an odd combination. Restaurants are packed with people waiting to either be seated or waiting to dig into their chicken and waffles. Service is swift, so waiting is short. Whereas people sit there savouring each piece of their waffles and chicken. Crisp as fried chicken can get and as juicy and tender as a chicken should be. Waffles that literally ""melts in your mouth"" with each bite taken in. Light and fluffy, the waffle doesnt take away any taste from the chicken, yet it doesnt enhance it but makes a home of its own with your buds. Sometimes the oddest things can be comforting to ones soul.

I was hesitant at first but this is something that everyone should try. The waffles are prefect and the fried chicken is very good.

I ordered the Manager's Special and while the chicken was good, I was upset to fnd out that this location does not serve Mac & Cheese. The greens were the bomb, but the potatoe salad was not that good. The portions were very sizable, however. Try the hotwater cornbread.

The chicken was good but the waffles are too small. The place was small but cozy and I felt really comfortable there. It is definitely a place to visit when you go to L.A.

GOOD, GOOD food if you like lots of Butter. Not the place for health watchers. quick service for a home cooked meal on the go.

Tender fried chicken smothered in rich gravy. Buttery grits and biscuits. Velvety waffles in sweet syrup. Corn bread. Suffice it to say that this food is worth waiting in line for whether it's noon on Saturday or Friday night after last call.
