Established in 1980, Inner City Law Center is a nonprofit, public interest law firm that provides legal services for poor people with an emphasis on housing issues. The firm serves over 2,000 homeless and low-income clients every year. It works with networks of other nonprofit organizations and government agencies to advocate on behalf of clients. Inner City Law Center s advocates help people on a variety of cases, including access to government benefits, landlord-tenant disputes, eviction defense and consumer issues, as well as referrals to other service providers. Its staff schedules follow-up and case management plans. Inner City Law Center maintains a presence in Los Angeles.
