The Best Massage I've Ever Had

This past weekend, I went to Healing Hands for a massage. I just moved to the neighborhood and happened to walk by so I thought I'd take a chance. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The spa has a really relaxing atmosphere. It's clean and the staff is very nice. I opted for an hour massage with a masseuse by the name of Vann Siharath. After being introduced, I explained that I just wanted a massage to relax. I went to lay down onto the table and discovered that my head rest had been sprayed with something that smelled wonderful. It set the mood as did the calming music that played in the background. Vann went to work on my back and I soon realized that he is a brilliant masseuse. It was definitely the best massage I've ever had and I've had my fair share of massages all across the country including some very pricey ones. I left feeling completely relaxed like I was walking on air. In addition, it was also very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it.

Vann is the MANN!!

Vann Siharath is far and away the best massage therapist in Los Angeles or New York.
His deep tissue work has saved me from the ravages of stress many, many times. He has magic hands and takes a keen interest in what is going on with your body.
He is also a very pleasant fellow to be around.
This weekly , and sometimes biweekly ,treatment is key to my preventative health care.
Sincerely,
Dr. Barbra Rubin

Best Massage At Any Price

I'm so happy to have found Healing Hands. The place is unpretentious and comfortable. You can't beat the price, especially for a 90 min. massage at $75. The price doesn't reflect the quality of the therapists however. I'm a massage therapist as well so I'm very picky about who works on my body. I highly recommend Vann who is fantastic at deep tissue massage. I've been going to him once a month when I need to get the kinks ironed out. Another great therapist is Dodi, also for deep tissue massage. She's so excellent that she's almost always booked but if you can get an appointment, it's well worth it.

OUTSTANDING MASSAGE IN WEST HOLLYWOOD

I got a FANTASTIC massage from Vann Siharath and I cant begin to tell you how good I felt when it was all over. I fully expected to have a full day of errands when I was done with the massage but after an hour of Vann kneading my sore back and really getting into the knots I have I was in no mood to do anything except jump into my sweats and spend the rest of the day relaxing in bed. If you are looking for a really talented, friendly and totally easy going masseur then Vann is your guy. Id have to say that Vann is one of the best in town and if you are really looking for someone to relieve you of all your aches and pains (at least for an hour) than make an appointment with Vann....

Nice accupuncture

I pulled the ACL in my knee while taking a Capoeira class. After doing some research on the internet I learned that acupuncture was recommended for this type of injury. I can see why. After my first treatment the swelling on my knee went away almost immediately. Now most of the pain has gone away and I'm no longer limping. - thanks Marguerite

Best messages ever!!!!!!!

I work in this business and I have been all over the country visiting different spas and I can't express enough how incredible a deal this place is. Not only am I very picky but I have been working in the business for over 16 years. All the therapists are excellent and very professional. I have never had a bad experience and the fact they only charge 75 dollars for an hour in a half is incredible. Aaron is my personal favorite, he is the only person who has ever made me so relaxed I actually started to doze off, and my headache was GONE! I buy gift certificates for all my friends and they are all repeat customers. I wish i could go everyday. You will never go anywhere else.....

Best LA Massage, Bar None

Over the years, I've spent tons of money and tons of time seeking the perfect massage at the perfect price. Not only that, I wanted to find a place that truly cared about me as a client, and would pay attention to my specific health needs. I also wanted to find a place that had heart and soul, and wasn't another Burke Williams or one of those places where I've felt like a small clog in the all-too-huge LA massage machine.

Once I found Healing Hands I realized my search was over. While not having any familiarity with the body workers that first time, I happened to get Jessica. What a lucky day that was. I've been going to her ever since (I go at least once a month). She's extremely courteous and knowledgeable. She can also bring a smile to the face of those in the worst of pain.

So what are you waiting for? Stop reading this review and go get a massage!

Great Massage! Very affordable. I go once a month and love it every time.

I love Healing Hands because it is such a great atmosphere. I always feel so refreshed when I leave. There rates are very affordable and the staff is always so pleasant. I have also visited their location on W 3rd Street which is great too!! I strongly recommend them. -KP

Excellent massage

I needed a massage badly and I'm SO glad I found Healing Hands. I didn't know what to expect for only $55 ($49.50 with the Citysearch Coupon!), but what I got was a no frills, excellent deep tissue massage. Forget Burke Williams if you can forego the cozy spa robes and cucumbers on your eyes, because Healing Hands is 10 times better for massages.

ps My masseuse was Deidre?very good.

Best Massage in LA!

I've been going to Healing Hands since 2005. Out of the 20 or so times I've gotten a massage there, I've only been unsatisfied once. It was with a male therapist and his arms hairs were really long and got in the way of the massage. Get a KCRW discount card, you'll save 15% with each massage.

Dodi My New Massage Therapist

I highly recomend seeing Dodi. I usually ask for a guy to massage me, being that I like a strong massage. I work out allot and sometimes put to much strain on my upper back. Dodi was so strong and knew where to go after our consultation. I recomend her to any guy that needs a good healing.

Overrated

Very disappointed, specially after reading the glowing ""reviews."" Sometimes companies ask people to write nice things about them. Maybe part of the marketing campaign. $55 means they have to pay the therapist $27 per hour. You get what you pay for? Sorry to be so negative, but it was too noisy, and the guy was way too soft and talked too much. I just I couldn't wait for it to be over.

I am ADDICTED!

While I have had many massages with many different therapists, I have been completely blown away by Dodi! Her energy and her ability to pinpoint my aches and pains pretty much on her own has amazed me. I have never been the type to indulge myself with a monthly massage, I have now been seing Dodi almost once a week. I no longer feel like it is an indulgence because the improved state of health I feel is so worth the investment. I will be seeing another therapist the next time around since my daughter and I will be getting massages at the same time so I'm looking forward to meeting the other talent in the house!

Where the Pros go.

As a massage therapist myself, I'm pretty picky when it comes to choosing a another therapist to work on me. I also understand that the process of choosing a therapist is completely subjective, which is why I feel the need to say to ""roxy10"" and ""greatbrook"": just because the therapist you had didn't quite work for you, does not mean that they are not amazing therapists. In fact, I see Dodi (who roxy10 complained about) regularly and frankly, couldn't make it through the week without her amazing healing touch. I feel like it's important for the general public to realize how subjective the process of choosing a massage therapist is (as greatbrook's review proves). Try a few different therapists, and see who fits for you. Trust me, all the therapists at Healing Hands that I've encountered are knowledegable, caring, and thorough. I've had sessions with many of them, and haven't been disappointed yet. This is the ONLY place I refer my own clients to when my schedule is full. Trust me - as a massage professional for 12 years - this is the place to go for bodywork in L.A. Tell the receptionist what you're looking for in your massage session so they can match you up with the appropriate therapist (we all have our own style). You won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, talented therapists - couldn't have asked for a better, more therapeutic massage. Zen-like environment and pristinely clean.

Great Massage and Acupuncture

Healing hands is a small, unpretentious gem. The massages are affordable and Tamara's acupunture skills are amazing. I was reluctant to try acupunture at first, but two years later I am still going to healing hands and wish I had the money to get acupuncture every week.

Grad school stress??? What grad school stress???

Yesterday ended a very stressful semester and today Saria jiggled all the stress out of me. She has this amazing technique of testing muscle tension, then knowing exactly where to push and rub to make it go away. She very gifted at reading bodies, and definitely the person to go to if you're holding on to nasty tension and bad juju. I feel more than relaxed, I feel unbraided, elated, and quite sleepy (in a good way). Another fantastic trip to Healing Hands!
