A part of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks ,Griffith Park Boys Camp is a residential summer camp that enrolls more than 150 children between the ages of 6 and 14. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). It maintains a rock climbing wall, archery range, kitchen, dining hall and several hiking trails. Griffith Park Boys Camp also features over 15 cabins. The camp s sports activities include soccer, swimming, basketball and baseball. It additionally organizes talent shows, field trips and carnivals. Griffith Park Boys Camp offers arts and crafts, nature awareness and counselor training programs. The camp provides cabins on a rental basis during offseason.
