Went there a couple weeks ago for the first time. My husband has been going there for years and suggested I try it. I bought a couple of perfumes for me and a couple of gifts. The guys suggested testers and assured me they were exactly the same as the originals in other words that the testers were original. I accepted; who doesn't want a good deal. When I got home I tested the first one which was the Coach Poppy. I sprayed my right hand with my original and sprayed my left hand with the tester. NEGATIVE! Not the same scent what's so ever. I then tested the Dior j'adore again NEGATIVE! Not only did that one not smell the same but it was darker than the original bottle I purchased at Macys. The following Monday I called and spoke to Patty who was kind and said I could take them in and they would take care of me. I was hesitant because the receipt stipulated to exchanges, returns etc but was happy she was willing to work with me. I wasn't too concerned because I knew I could file a dispute with my credit card company but wanted to give them a chance to fix the situation. Today, I walked into the store and explained that the testers I bought were not originals. The guy assured me again that they were. I had him smell each of my hands as I had sprayed them before I left my house but he didn't seem to think the manager would return or exchange the items for me. He stepped away to discuss with the man at the register came back with my cash and said thank you very much. I was willing to exchange them for sealed perfumes as I believed that the sealed ones would be original based on the fact that my husband has been buying from them for many years. He didn't even ask and just gave me my money. My husband then asked to see a certain cologne for his friend. The guy stepped away, came back and said "we don't want to sell to you anymore" I was in disbelief and frankly offended at such treatment. My husband had nothing to do with my reasons for returning those testers but yes he agreed that I should. I cannot believe the the kind of management skills that individual posses; Completely unprofessional and clearly lacks service skills needed to run a successful business. I would never hire anyone that treats customers in that manner; as if it was my fault? Really? who doesn't want a good deal? I would have much rather paid what I paid there rather than going back to macys and paying over double the price. I DO NOT recommend this store and plan to escalate this matter as far up as I can go. Who does this guy think he is? I would love to take in my original perfumes bought at the Coach store and at Macys and compare them to those testers to clearly prove they are not the same and that we did not deserve to be treated in that manner. Very offended! There are many MANY other businesses that will appreciate your business and treat you the way customers should be treated. Don't waste your time here. They do NOT deserve your business.
