I did my nursery with Fun Furniture and had the most amazing experience with them. They had an amazing selection which includes a custom line that is unbelieveabley adorable and unique. I ended up doing a custom crib, dresser, changer, and glider. They also have the best selection of accessories and toys I've found in Los Angeles and so I was able to do my entire nursery with them--it was like having an interior decorator but without the cost. The sales people were extremely friendly and helpful and everything was on time and in perfect condition--I don't know what these people are complaining about!! My son is turning three and I'm going back to Fun Furniture to do his toddler room--their custom beds are magical (houses, castles, trains, cars) and you simply can't find them anywhere else. I've referred them to all of my friends and everyone has had a great experience. It's the best kid's store in L.A., hands down.

Avoid this store, especially if you are pregnant and don't need extra aggravation or demands on your time due to their horrible customer service. Do not trust any delivery charge they quote you as it could be more than $50 more than they quote you and they see this as an issue betewen you and a ""third party"" delivery service...regardless of the fact that they quoted you a fee when you were deciding whether to purchase a specific item from the store. If you have a problem with their ATROCIOUS customer service they become rude and argumentative. I really do not understand how this place is still in business....but I have never seen another customer in the store and now I know why. My experience was right on par with that of the other reviewers. It seems no one has a positive experience at this store.

I purchased a glider from this store. Although the store told me there would be a $75 to $85 charge for delivery, when the chair arrived, the delivery charge was $125. The chair had also been improperly assembled so that the chair only rocked forward, not backwards. When I went into the store to complain, the man (I believe he is the owner) told me that it was between me and the delivery service, and it was not the store's responsibility for the chair to arrive properly assembled or to hold the delivery charge to what they quoted me. This was after spending almost $1,000 on the the chair!! The final aggravation came about a week later when I noticed the store had double billed my credit card for the chair. When I called to complain, the man offered to send me a check the following week. When I explained that I was 10 months pregnant and did not want a check, but wanted the charge reversed immediately, he responded that reversing the charge would cause accounting problems for his store. Avoid this store unless you want extra charges, flawed merchandise and excessive aggravation. The Juvenile Shop is much more professional and I wish I had purchased the glider from them instead.

The worst customer service imaginable. When we first walked in off the street we were charmed by the owner's personality. And we were moved by his plea to consider his store not because of price - he admitted he couldn't compete with the big stores - but because of the care and attention that he would provide. HAH! What a joke!
These people could care less about their customers. They don't follow up. They don't return calls. Thye don't keep specific promises despite making them time and time again. I can't wait for their going out of business sale. Not because I'd buy anything. But it would be a nice opportunity to rub their face in their failure.

I bought my crib there and gave them a sample of the color that I wanted by giving them a knob from the changing table. the crib was not the right color and he lost the knob. Mind you it took longer then the 10 weeks that he said it would take. He said I could give them back the crib and wait for a new one. My son was due in a week, that was not an option.
DO NOT SHOP THERE!!!!!
PS. I paid $75 for delivery o f the crib and it was laughable how small the box was when they delivered it. A good business man would tell that it would make more sense for you to pick it up in Burbank then pay a ridiculous charge of $75
