Terrible customer service. We were rear ended on our way to return the car and have had nothing but trouble with Fox corporate. They are extremely unprofessional, responding with rude emails and failing to help at all. I understand they want their money, but I am not an insurance company, nor am I the guy that hit us. I wasn’t even the driver, so no need to be rude to me. The process is slow for claims, but Fox expects us to somehow speed it up AND pay out of pocket now so they don’t have to wait for the process to finish. I have a great insurance company and they even stated that they can’t believe how unprofessional Fox has been. DO NOT USE IN ANY STATE!

I've used this company at other locations and it worked fine but I'll NEVER use them at LAX again. 45 minutes until a shuttle stopped for us. Two had passed us that were jam packed. And then once you got to the office the line was extremely long and it took another 35 minutes until I could get a car. This was a business trip and I had appointments to keep which didn't allow almost 1 1/2 hours to get a car. They advertise about their great service. Well it sure wasn't here!

HORRIBLE!!! Cars were filthy & smelled. Shuttle driver was a jerk!! Don't waste your time or money here. Trying to call them is an absolute JOKE! Over 3 hours on the phone and I keep getting told a manager will call me back...ya right. Days later......

Worse experience ever with a car rental. Waited a long time at LAX for their shuttle. Then after signing the contract had to wait for more than 45 minutes along with many other people because the car wash wasn't working. When we finally got a car and drove off it stunk of cigarette smoke .Took 3 cans of air freshener before I could ride in it without coughing. We complained about the smoke on returning the car and they acted like they couldn't care less. We insisted on speaking to a manager who didn't even have the courtesy of speaking to us directly but just took a small amount of money off the rental. Definitely not worth going "cheap" .Never use them again.

Had a safety issue with a back...

Had a safety issue with a backseat seat belt and reported it upon returning the car. The guy at the payment desk just said "sorry 'bout that" with a tone that clearly showed he could not have cared less. Had to catch a plane but called and called and called after returning home to make sure the belt issue had been addressed and to see if I could get a discount for having to deal with it for our 10 day vacation. ha...silly me...I'm still trying. Eventually I'll give up like everyone else and never rent from them again.

NO SERVICE AT ALL!

A friend experienced major dilemma when her child lost the rental keys at the hotel. I looked up every phone number I could find online for FOX LAX and none of them were answered by a live person! In fact, all the "options" go to voicemail and no one called back. One option even went to a wrong number to a title company where the lady hung up on me!



IF you can avoid LAX, do it! IF you rent from FOX, be warned! Cheap is not worth the savings!

LAX FOX CAR RENTAL- WARNING

Terrible customer service. One service agent checking in customers at the LAX airport?? Was given a car that was scratched throughout the body work, missing pieces off the front of the car etc... Asked if I could write out a report prior to leaving so I was not charged for the condition of the car and was told sure fill it out. There was not enough room to note all the damage, when asking for help I was told just to sign and not to worry about it! This gentleman sat out in a dark alleyway, he obviously was woken up prior to my arrival. He was rude and uncaring. I stated I wanted another car, he said "FINE", pull around and go back to the desk! Another wait.... Expressed my disappointment, no concern from the sales rep, just here is your new keys. I filled out report prior to returning to the exit. Again, let me say its 1:30am, a dark alleyway with no way out unless the gate is opened. Now there is no one there to check you out?? I cannot back up to return. After attempting to call the front desk from my cellphone, the gentlman returned with his cup of coffee and still very rude. I do not understand how this agency can stay in business!! My recommendation, pay the exta $20 or so dollars. It's true you get what you pay for! The car we received smelled bad, no electronics at all with basic roll up windows and no air and poor service!
