did not like at all, mean, pompous, didn't listen

I have seen many psychiatrists, and Doctor Taheri-Tafreshi is by far the best. Perhaps the problem is that people aren't used to seeing psychiatrists and are put off by the personal questions. Other psychiatrists are similarly direct when discussing difficult subjects.

This is a VA doctor who lives up to the reputation the VA has for having terrible doctors. He just doesn't know what he's doing and when a patient questions his judgment, he becomes very abusive. Dr. Taheri is the absolute worst psychiatrist I have ever had. I believe that his cultural background makes it extremely difficult for him to understand American women. I experienced him to be extremely prejudiced toward me as a woman and he was very hard to work with.
