Their Sunday brunch is great. It gets crowded so gets a bit noisy. The food is interesting and yet tasty.

Nothing really bad to say about this place. Great setting and great food! The Steigl Gold beer is awesome. We had the Clambake and it was delicious! Big recommend!

Awesome outside patio. Cool bar with tons of wine by the glass. You can order small plates and try lots of stuff or you can go with entrees.

Nice bistro food and wine bar tucked away in an old Craftsman house on Hyperion. They have a cozy front patio, but I often just grab a spot at the bar with a friend and order food here. Great shareable small plates. I'm partial to the meatballs.

Barbrix is a little gem on Hyperion. Specializing in small plates, they will have something to please every palate. Get there early for Oysters on Mondays and make sure you ask your server about the wines on the board. Their patio is enchanted at night time. A great place to take out of town visitors.

This rating is based off of my first time here. Ordered the steak and eggs and thought it was incredibly delicious. We sat outside during a sunny Sunday morning and the wait staff kept the water glasses full and the mimosas coming. Overall would go back to try other dishes.

Great local restaurant

My husband and I recently went to Barbrix to celebrate our anniversary. I had heard that the restaurant can be extremely loud and that it's better to sit outside. It was cold the night we went so we sat inside. It was a bit loud but we were able to hear one another. If you are with a party of four or more I think the acoustics could be a challenge.

The food was fantastic. What a welcome addition to the neighborhood restaurants. The menu is quite large and consists of small plates. We had delicious charcuterie, olives, amazing scallops, some delicious cheeses, the cauliflower and a few other items. The wine list was quite good too. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively and the food was delish.
