Provided by YP.comI have never taken the time to write a comment about a business before ... but the owners of Better Than new are absolutely wonderful (nice staff too). I was so impressed with their level of service that I felt compelled write a review.
I had an issue with a lovely piece of furniture that I purchased & Ed & Jenny went out of their way to make sure that the issue was resolved. I would never, ever expect that level of service from a consignment store! Ed even came to my house to make sure that it was taken care of properly! Amazing!
I only buy high (& mid-high) quality furniture (Century, Baker, Henredon, Stanley, Thomasville, mid-century modern pieces, etc.).
I prefer pre-owned furniture not only for the obvious savings but because in many instances older pieces are better quality.
Better Than New stocks some nice quality furniture.
I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for decent quality pre-owned furniture & decor.

Provided by YP.comMy first and last visit here. Interested in several furniture pieces, a bedroom set and table chair set. No price on the bedroom set and when I inquired, the snippy sales gal said it just came in, come back another day and they would have it priced. Really? A customer in house and you are going to let them walk because you are too lazy to find out for me? In continuing to browse, I noticed that other pieces seem to be priced very high for used furniture, so I lost any interest in coming back to check on bedroom set or ask if price was firm on Aico set near front door. Not friendly, no good deals
Sorry we weren't able to price the bedroom set quickly enough this time, Annie. We consign so may items of lovely, gently used furniture every day and it can take an hour or two to organize them, price them, and display them for sale. We try to consign a variety of styles and price points for all our shoppers from the very high end brands like AICO all the way to the other end of the spectrum with IKEA or Rooms to Go. Each piece is priced reasonably considering the initial retail price, age, and condition. Hope you have another chance to visit one day soon and update your review if you feel we've redeemed ourselves :)
