Provided by YP.comThe prices at ALL Goodwill Stores have more than doubled over the pat year. I notice that they have a thriving online auction site as well as EBAY. They are catering to the "Estate Sale/Antique Store owner's" and are forgetting their loyal store shoppers. What a pity! They do not realise that treasure hunting is all that most people can afford, but it is a lot fun looking for those treasures. I have heard so many people comment about the ridiculous prices and purchase nothing that I know I am not the only dedicated Goodwill shopper that feels dumped. I mean Goodwill is moving on UP and so are the prices! Who goes to a thrift shop to spend 250$ on a rug? I am not making this up. They price used things just a little less than Walmart. The managers in some of the store, BattleGround to be specific, go over return items as though you purchased a tux for one night, wore it, and now are returning it saying it doesn't fit! Olright already! I have no disire to drive 30 miles just to ripoff a thrift store (in store credits only) not worth the price of gas! I hate to bad mouth a business that I have shopped at for years but I would honestly like to know how this 'Thrift Store" gets away with being an online auction with outragous shipping rates and how long they will have store locations for us peasents? BB&B started as on OUTLET store in NY. Went national. Forgot their client base. Haven't had a good quarter for three years! Closing many stores. I hate to say I told you so but Goodwill, your playing to wrong audience.
