HORRIFIC experience. Driver didn’t stop for a red light and almost hit us, he never even slowed down for the light with a line of cars stopped. When he finally swerved he was so close I could’ve touched him, and he about went off the road. Thank god there was an empty turn lane he used last minute because he still was barely slowing down. Then he flipped a u turn across traffic. I’d avoid these guys because obviously safety isn’t a priority.

I initially had a bad experience with this company. I was in a car accident and the police called the tow truck. Once the owner knew what was going on he called me and was extremely understanding and apologetic for my initial experience. Joe is a very nice guy and if I ever am in need of a tow truck i will be calling St. Vrain. Thank you Joe for making it right for me! It is appreciated more than you know.

This service was dispatched through AAA and I was initially granted a four hour window. After that window expired, they told me an additional 90 minutes. The driver showed up after that 90 minute window only to tell me if I wanted my car towed it would be an extra fee due to my road being dirt. In hindsight I should have looked at the reviews and advocated for a different company. I own that piece but otherwise this is a company that will take advantage of people in a desperate situation. My advice - use someone else!!

(I would have given them 0 stars if it had let me..) These guys are racketeers. They demand cash only up front, and if you don't have it, they tack on $300 within the first 12 hours after they arrive and take your vehicle. They refuse to work with insurance companies, credit card or check payments and want $60.00 per day fees.

That means that you have to risk your life carrying around several hundred dollars with you in order to pay them. Further, they wont issue any receipts or billing paperwork in order to prevent you from having any evidence should you take them to court.

They are scamming people in order to get their cars or high dollar amounts for low value service.

Check for complaints at the Better Business Bureau and the Colorado State Attorneys office.

St. Vrain towing was dispatched through AAA to help us with a blown tire on I-25. I'm unsure of their pricing but their service was great! They called to let me know when they would arrive. Shane was great with all our options as I was missing a hub key. I was thankful he thought ahead to bring a flat bed in-case we need a tow. Shane actually found the key behind a screw driver. He was great and got us on our way quickly. I was very please with the service received.

watch out

St. Vrain towing is a place to watch out for. They charge high rates and crazy extra fees. $60 off hours fee and a 10% surcharge for using a credit card. Our original very high charge of $160 for the tow ended up at $430! Beware of St.Vrain towing.
